151 parks, 220 miles of trails and a lake in the middle

Outdoor life is the reason many people move here. The Township's parks department was recently a national finalist for the Gold Medal award given to the country's top park systems.

Nearly every neighborhood has a park within walking distance, connected by the pathway system.

The Woodlands has more than 130 holes of private club golf, and The Woodlands Resort in Grogan's Mill offers golf packages for guests.
